Although I miss the food festivals in Tokyo, Aomori has a lot more public hot springs that I can enjoy. The hot spring are not to be confused with the sento or public bathhouses you find in Tokyo. These places are genuine hot springs. We went to a hot spring in Namioka called [Wa no Yu] sometime in the winter of our second year of living in Aomori.
東京の料理祭りは恋しくなるけど、青森は東京より街の天然温泉が多い。銭湯ではなくちゃんとした温泉です。２０１８年の冬に始めて浪岡にある温泉「和の湯」に行ってきました。

I always enjoy a milk coffee or cold coffee after a bath at the hot spring.
温泉のお風呂上がりはやはりコーヒーミルクが冷たいコーヒーを飲むが好き。
On our way home, we stopped at the Namioka Roadside Station [Apple Hill] and had ourselves some gelato.
帰りに浪岡道の駅「アップル・ヒル」に行って、ジェラートを買って食べた。
