Tonic / トニック

A couple of days before New Year's Eve, our friends Yukio and Reiko were coming to Aomori. We would be picking them up from Shin-Aomori station around 8:30pm. We were planning on having dinner with them but both Yukio and Reiko ate dinner before leaving Tokyo and had snacks on the shinkansen as well so they were not that hungry when they came into town. So, we decided to head straight over to a rockabilly bar that's run and owned by one of Yukio's friends. A place called Tonic.

It was snowing as usual on the 29th as my wife and I were out shopping.

The bar is located on the 2nd floor of a building less than a block away from where my mother-in-law's sister works.

Having drinks with our usual travel partners.

We are planning on spending the day with them on the 2nd as we will be heading towards Misawa.

Great to see our friends from Chiba.
