First Christmas Eve & Christmas in Aomori /

As we have recently moved to Aomori, we had no real plans for Christmas Eve or Christmas. However, my wife and I wanted to continue our tradition of having a kamakura cake from 7-11. It's a cake in the shape of an igloo. We had a very informal dinner of chicken and sushi at my sister-in-law's house.

This is not the cake from 7-11 but a different one.

This is the kamakura cake from 7-11. I think we bought the last one at the 7-11 we went to.

And a WeizenBock from Ginga Kogen Beer.

And on to Christmas Dinner. We went to eat at my sister-in-law's house. Our nephew was in town from Tokyo. Since he is home for Christmas, he won't be coming home for the New Year's Holidays.

Bon Appetit!
