[Nagao Chuka Soba] Nishi Bypass Branch / 「長尾中華そば」西パイパス店

Early this year, my wife and I had a craving for some Niboshi Ramen so we went to the closest branch of [Nagao Chuka Soba] near our house. 

今年の２月くらいに僕と妻は久しぶりに煮干しラーメンが食べたくて、うちの近くにある「長尾中華そば」に行きました。私たちが行ったのは西バイパス店でした。

We were surprised to find that the menu had changed since our last visit. There were only three types of ramen on the menu and you couldn't pick the type of noodles as you could before. But since we were already in the shop, we couldn't just leave. 

以前来店した時、メニューが変った。３種類のラーメンしかないし、麺類も選べない。ちょっとびっくりだった。でももう店内に入ったから、食べずに去ることが出来ませんでした。

My wife ordered the Tsugaru Niboshi with a topping of char siu.

妻が注文したのは津軽煮干しラーメン。チャーシューもトッピングして。

I ordered the tonkotsu niboshi ramen.

自分が注文したのは豚骨煮干しラーメン。

My wife offered me one of her char-siu.

妻が一切れのチャーシューを僕にあげた。

The ramen was pretty good but it wasn't the Nagao niboshi ramen that we expected so we won't be going back to the Nishi Bypass branch anytime soon. I checked the branch near my workplace and found that it still serves the old ramen from the old menu. If we have a desire, we'll go to that branch instead. 

ラーメンは普通に旨かったが、私たちが期待してた長尾の煮干しラーメンではなかったので、もう西バイパス店に行くことはないだろうな。自分の職場に別の「長尾」店があり、そこの店のメニューは以前と変ってないので、また煮干しラーメンが食べたいなら、そっちのほうに行くと思います。
