露天風呂行きです。
Fufu Kappa no Yu
The Kappa couple is sitting on the wall between the women's and men's bath.
河童の夫婦は壁の上に座ってます。
A river runs along the side of the bath.
露天風呂から川が眺めます。
That isn't me but I did enjoy this bath while looking at the autumn foilage.
僕が映ってませんが、先まで自分もお風呂に入りながら紅葉を楽しめた。
That's my shadow. You can also see my mother-in-law, her sister and my wife.
私の影です。奥に立ってるのは義理の母、妻と義理の母の妹。

ここからかっぱの湯の露天風呂が丸見え。
Saimeizawa Bridge
This was a track used by loggers many years ago. My mother-in-law was reminscing about coming here with her husband many years ago.
このトロッコの線路を見た瞬間、義理の母が何年か前、亡くなった旦那とここに来たことを思い出してた。
A forest of Aomori cypress trees.
It was time to head back to Aomori City.
そろそろ青森市に帰る時間になった。
My wife tried to drive a little faster so I could get a shot of the sun setting below the ocean. We could see it as a large orange ball. Unfortunately, when the road finally followed the ocean, it was too late.
夕日は凄かった。でっかいオレンジの太陽だった。妻がちょっと早めにアクセルを踏みましたが、道が海沿いに着いた時、もう沈んでた。
We stopped at the Yokohama Town roadside station in the hopes of picking up some deep fried scallops. However, they were sold out so I decided to try some smoked scallops instead.
帰り道にまた横浜町の道の駅に寄って、はたて揚げを買いたかったが、もう売り切れでした。代わりにいぶりホタテを買って、食べてみた。
They were nice and crunchy and had a smoky flavor.
コリコリして、燻製した感じのホタテでした。結構美味しい。
We also stopped at [Yusuitei], the shop that is famous for it's tofu donuts.
やっぱり「湧水定」に寄って、卯の花ドーナッツを買いました。おからから出来てるドーナッツです。
Another thirty minutes before calling it a day.
あと３０分くらいで今日の冒険が終了致します。
