Lunch at [La Fonte] in Namioka and Hana no Yu Hot Spring / 浪岡 道の駅 アップルヒル「ラフォンテ」のランチと花の湯

Back in January of this year, my wife and I decided to have lunch at [Le Fonte] which is located at the Namioka Roadside Station [Apple Hill]. It is an Italian restaurant that has a monthly set menu. Lunch is served with an assortment of appetizers, followed by the main dish (a choice between two pastas) and finishes off with an assortment of desserts. The price went up since the last time we there. It went from ￥1500 to ￥1700. 

今年の始まり、ある週末、道の駅なみおか「あっぷるひる」でランチを食べに行った。その場所にイタリアンレストラン「ラファンテ」がある。セットメニューしかありません。以前行ったより値段が上がった。最初に行ったときは、そのセットメニューが１５００円でした。今年に入って、値段が１７００円まで上がった。セットに５種類くらいの前菜から始まり、メインディッシュのパスタ（２醜類から選べる）、そして最後はデザートの盛り合わせ。

My wife ordered the seafood pasta.

I ordered the carbonara.

After lunch, we went to a hot spring in Hirosaki. Today, we decided to check out [Hana no Yu]. 

ランチを食べ終わってから、弘前市にある温泉施設「花の湯」に行きました。

Hot Spring [Hana no Yu] / 天然温泉「花の湯」

This hot spring features seven different types of baths and also includes a sauna. I borrowed the pictures of the baths from their official website. 

この温泉に７種類のお風呂があり、サウナもあります。お風呂の写真は「花の湯」の公式サイトから借りた。

Yes, there really is such a thing. A very weird feeling when you use this bath. 

はい、電気風呂は日本であんまり珍しくないけど、アメリカ人はびっくりするわ。

Sauna / サウナ

After using the sauna for about ten minutes, I then head to the water bath and soak in there for at least one minute. 

自分がサウナを１０分くらいを使ったあと、必ず水風呂で１分くらいは入るよ。
