First Shrine Visit of the Year / 今年の初詣

Hm, I haven't written many posts about what I've done or where I've been this year so I thought I would remedy that situation by first telling you about our hatsumode or first shrine visit of the year. It's a very Japanese tradition. This year we went to Kehi Shrine in Oirase Town. 

おう、今年行った所ややったことあんまり書いてなかったので、年開けの初詣の話から始めよう。今年はおいらせ町にある気比神社に行きました。

We then went to AEON Mall Shimoda and had lunch at the food court. We all chose something from the yakiniku restaurant [Gyukaku]. 

お参りしたあと、イオンモール下田のフードコートでランチを食べた。私たち３人は「牛角」からなにかを注文した。

My wife had the negi-shio gyu kalbi tongue yaki set. 

妻はねぎ塩牛カルビ・タン焼き定食を注文。

I had the zenbu mori set which included beef kalbi, pork kalbi, and beef tongue. 

自分が注文したのは全部盛り定食。牛カルビ・豚カルビ・牛タン。

My mother-in-law had the gyu-kalbi bowl. 

義理の母は牛カルビ丼を注文。

A new donut shop opened in the food court so I had to check it out. It's called MILK DO dore iku? I forgot what flavored donuts we got but they were all pretty good. 

フードコートに新しいドーナツショップが出来た。それが「ミルク・ドゥ どれいく？」。なに味のドーナツを買ったか覚えてないけど、美味しかったのは確か。
