My wife heard about this cafe on a television program (I think). The desserts looked really good so we decided to go experience it ourselves. It's an ice cream cafe called [Rashinban] located in Namioka, about a twenty to thirty minute drive from our house.
僕の妻がテレビがネットでこのカフェの情報を得た。浪岡にあるアイスクリームカフェ「羅針盤」。デザートの写真を見た限り美味しそうに見えたので、行ってみた。
My wife ordered a dessert from the seasonal menu - a chestnut parfait. It included apples and my wife really isn't that big a fan of apples, although she does like apple pie!
妻が注文したのは季節限定のメニュー和栗パフェ。林檎の味も混ぜたものでした。実は僕の妻そんなに林檎が好きじゃない。アップルパイは大好きけどね。
I ordered the pancake topped with melted cheese. It was so good!
自分が注文したのはとろーりチーズかけパンケーキ。とっても美味しかった。
My wife and I plan on coming back here again to eat from their lunch menu.
僕と妻はまたこの店に来ることを決めて、次はランチを食べに来る予定。
