Mutsu City Shrines and Temples / むつ市 神社・お寺巡り

 While we were in Mutsu, we decided to make a pilgrimage to different shrines and temples. 

むつ市にいるあいだ、神社・お寺巡りをしました。

First, we went to Tanabu Shrine. 

最初に行ったのは田名部神社。

Oh, a pin badge I got from the Rape Blossom Festival in Yokohama Town.

I got my shrine seal from Tanabu Shrine.

Next, we went to Jonenji Temple. 

次行ったのは常念寺。

I also got my temple seal from Jonenji Temple. 

常念寺の御朱印もゲットしました。

As we headed back to Aomori, we stopped at the Yokohama Roadside Station [Nanohana Plaza]. 

靑森市に戻る途中、道の駅よこはま「菜の花プラザ」に寄りました。

Wow, I got a pretty good shot of a crow in midflight. 

おう、飛んでるカラスの写真が良く撮れたと思う。

My wife and I love these deep-fried clams. 

僕と妻がこの揚げほたてが大好きです。

I also love these tofu donuts called [U no Hana Donuts] that are a specialty of a tofu shop called [Yusuitei].

あと自分が凄く好きなのは、横浜町にある豆腐屋「湧水亭」の「卯の花」ドーナツ。おからドーナツです。

I also bought myself a Yokohama Town craft beer - Nanohana Beer.

あと自分用で横浜町のクラフトビール菜の花ビールを買いました。

And that ends our trip to Yokohama Town and Mutsu City.

それで横浜町とむつ市の日帰り旅行の幕た閉じた。

Mutsu Grand Hotel and Lunch at the [Sky Restaurant] / むつグランドホテルと「スカイ・レストラン」でランチ

Continuing my post about our trip to the Rape Blossom Festival in Yokohoma Town and Mutsu City. After we enjoyed the rape blossom festivals, we continued on to Mutsu City. We were planning on having lunch at the Sky Restaurant located on the top floor of the Mutsu Grand Hotel. 

横浜町菜の花祭りと続きです。菜の花を楽しんだ後、むつ市に向かった。今日のランチの予定はむつグランドホテルの最上階にあるスカイ・レストランで食べる。

In the lobby of the hotel, there was a display of many small festival floats.

ホテルのロビーに小さな山車がいっぱい並んでました。

Ah, these are floats that will be used during the Tanabu Festival. 

ああ、この山車は田名部神社例大祭で出る山車だ。

And now it's time for lunch.

さて、昼食の時間です。

Next to the hotel is the Tonami Hot Spring. In front of the building is the Tonami Hot Spring Shrine. 

ホテルの隣に斗南温泉、美人の湯があります。温泉の外に斗南温泉神社がある。

You will also find the Itsukushijima Shrine on the hotel grounds.

Looks like the hotel offer horse-drawn carriage rides as well. 

むつグランドホテルで馬車で観光も出来るみたい。

There is a Festival Square behind the hotel as well. We didn't go this time around but we will check it out another time. 

ホテルの裏にお祭り広場がある。今回は探索してないが、次回来たら見てみる。

Next up on our Yokohama Town and Mutsu City day trip is to check out some temples and shrines.
