Nissin U.F.O. Yakisoba with Dam Plate / 日清 U.F.O.焼きそば、ダムプレート付き

In case you didn't know, one of my hobbies is collecting dam cards. You know how a lot of American kids collect baseball cards, well, I also collect trading cards...of dams! So imagine my excitement when my wife bought me a brand of instant yakisoba that came with a dam plate!!

知らないかも知りませんが、僕はダムカードを集めてる。アメリカの少年たちが野球のトレーディングカードを集めてる様に、自分もトレカを集めてる。ダムのものですが。それを分かってる妻が僕の為に面白いものを買ってくれた。日清U.F.O.の焼きそばにダムプレートが付いてるもの！

The regular package. This is the U.F.O. Omori yakisoba with a thick, thick, rich sauce. 

普通のパッケージ。日清U焼きそばU.F.O.大盛。濃い濃い濃厚ソース。

And now as I put on the dam plate, the package has turned into a dam!

ダムプレートがかけたら、普通のパッケージがダムに早変わり。

Yep, I just wanted to do this!

はい、これだけがやりたかった！

The dam doesn't change the flavor of the yakisoba but it's a way of bringing out the kid in me. 

ダムプレートを付けたことで味が変わることはないけど、やはり子供心を忘れないようにしてくれる。

Today for lunch, my wife and I had the Nissin Seafood Yakisoba. This came with two different dam plates. 

今日のランチは日清シーフード焼きそば。この形のパッケージに２種類のダムプレートがありました。
