After buying a car and driving to all the major tourist attractions of Aomori Prefecture, my wife and I were wondering what else is there to explore. Then I remember that we recently went to the Tsugaru Dam in Nishimeya Village and received a free dam card. I thought, hey, we could drive to different dams and start collecting dam cards. We decided to check out the nearest one to our house first, the Asamushi Dam.
東京から青森市に引っ越して、車も購入し、青森県の観光名所をほぼ探索したもので、これからどこ行けば良いと悩んだとき、ちょっと前のドライブを思い出した。西目屋村にある津軽ダムに行って、その時始めてダムカードが存在してるのを知り、別のダムを探索して、ダムカード集めをやろうじゃないか。最初はうちから一番近いダムを目指した。それが浅虫温泉郷にある浅虫ダム。

During the summer months, you can come here at night and check out the fireflies.

The Asamushi Dam card. As you saw, there is no building around the dam. To get this dam card, you have to take a picture of the dam, go down to the Roadside Station, show proof that you went to the dam and then you will receive your dam card at no cost.

The next dam we went to was the Toobe Dam in Ikarigaseki.

To get our dam cards for the Toobe Dam and Hisayoshi Dam, we had to go to the Roadside Station in Ikarigaseki.
