Our day adventure in Hachinohe continues. After enjoying the Tsukahara Museum, our next destination was the Kushibiki Hachimangu Shrine.
八戸日帰り冒険ツアーがまだ続いてます。ツカハラミュージアムを堪能したあと、次の目的地を目指した。それが櫛引八幡宮。
Here we are in front of Kushibiki Hachimangu Shrine.

An excerpt from the Kushibiki Hachimangu Story. Whenever a kappa that lives in the Mabechi River gets hungry, it would pull people or horses into the river. Hachiman-sama's hawk would punish the kappa.

[Omokaru no Kami]. It is said that once you pay your respects, you can then make a wish. If you can easily lift the stone, your wish will be fulfilled. However, if your wish will not be fulfilled, you will not be able to lift the stone no matter how much strength you use.

そして、やはり最後に櫛引八幡宮の御朱印を貰わないと冒険が終わらない。
After this, we decided to drive along the Tanesashi Coast, but that will be the subject of the next post.
櫛引八幡宮を探索したあと、種差海岸を目指した。旅の終わりが近づいてますが、種差海岸のドライブはまた今度のネタ。
