In the summer and autumn of 2017, my wife and I traveled around Aomori Prefecture going to all the dams that give out dam cards. On the first weekend of October, we decided to check out the Izume Dam in Goshogawara.
２０１７年の夏と秋、僕と妻が青森県のあちこちにドライブし、そのとき、青森県内でダムカードを配布してるダム巡りも行った。１０月の最初の週末私たちは五所川原にある飯詰ダムに行った。
At first I used my smart phone's navigation but it took us up a dirt road on the other side of this river. We learned that if we want to go to a dam and want to use a navigation system, we need to specify the dam office.
ダム行くときにスマホのナビを使ったら山の上の砂利道に案内され、それで、私たちが学習した。ダムに行くとき、ナビを使うときはちゃんとダム名管理所で検索するべき。

Since we drove up that mountain road, we had to wash the car after checking out the dam.
最初に山道に上ったから車が汚れた。ダムを見たあとに、近くのスタンドで洗車しました。
We had to go to an office in town to get our dam card.
