無事浅虫に到着して、丁度夕飯の時間になった。花火大会なので、浅虫は賑やかでいろんな屋台も出てました。さ、なにを食べるか？
We found a seat at a table. It was still light so we had time to drink beer as well.
テーブルの席に座って、花火が始まるまでまだ時間があったので、ビールも飲みました。
Tonight's dinner. Regular sauce yakisoba on the right. Squid ink yakisoba on the left. A nice slab of bacon at the top left and a dish that most Americans would avoid. My friend and I tried some grilled whale. It was our first time trying whale.
今夜の夕飯。屋台のものばっかりです。普通にソース焼きそばとイカスミ焼きそば。そして、ベーコンの串焼き。でも今日の目当ては鯨串。僕とドンが初めて食べた肉です。アメリカの友達は批判するかも知りませんが、以外と美味しかった。
It was time for us to find a spot to watch the display.
さて、花火はどこから見るのを決めないと。

暗くなるのを待ってるだけ。
And the show has started!
花火が始まった！
At least we bought our return tickets beforehand. It may have been really crowded but extra trains were running because of the event and we didn't have such a long wait.
帰りの電車はめっちゃ混んでましたが、イベントがあったため、走てる電車が普段より多く、長い待ち時間になりませんでした。
Tomorrow will be another traveling day without my wife who has to work. But my wife will take us to our first destination tomorrow - the Sannai-Maruyama Archaeological Site.
明日もまた二人だけの旅だ。妻は残念ながら仕事です。でも妻が明日の朝、私たちの目的地ー山内丸山遺跡まで送ってくれると言ってくれた。
