Blue Forest Chronicles: Don's Aomori Visit (Day 5 Part 3) / ドン青森紀行（五日目パート３）

It's time to check out the retro looking building and see if the cafe serves beer or not.

さて、あの気になる建物も探索して、中にあるカフェのメニューにビールがあるかどうか。

In case you forgot what building I was talking about.

どの建物のことを言ってるのかはこれです。

Inside this building is a cafe called the [Salon de Cafe Ange].

この建物の中に「サロン・で・カフェ・アンジュ」が入ってます。

And they serve beer!

This building we're currently in used to be used as a residences for foreign teachers. It was occupied by the Alexander family from 1898 to 1907. You are free to explore this building as well - for free.

この建物は旧東奥義塾外人教師館で使われた。明治３１年から明治４０年アレクサンダー家がお住まいになってた。この建物も探索して良いし、入場料も無料です。

アレクサンダー婦人のウェディングドレスと思う。

At first, we were planning on staying in Hirosaki to watch the Neputa Festival but Don was scheduled to leave on August 6th. This means he would miss the finale of the Nebuta Festival where the top five floats would be paraded around the bay, followed by a fireworks display. But tonight, in Asamushi, there is also going to be a fireworks display. I asked which event he would like to see and Don decided on the fireworks. Which means, we need to head back to the station and catch a train to Asamushi. But as we were leaving the cafe, another building caught our attention. It was the Hirosaki Tourist Center and Festival Float Exhibition Room.

今日の予定は弘前で弘前ねぷた祭りを見る予定だったが、ドンがアメリカに帰るのは８月６日。青森ねぶたの最後の日は翌日の８月７日。最後の日に今年最高のねぶた５台がむつ湾に出港。そのあとに花火が上がる。でも今日は浅虫で花火大会もあり、ドンにどっちを見るかときいてら、浅虫の花火を見に行こうと言った。ってことで、ここから駅に戻って、浅虫を目指さないっと。駅行く前にまた気になる建物が目に入った。入ったのは弘前私立観光館・山車展示館。
