Unfornately, this picture didn't turn out as well as I hoped. This car seats the Miss Nebuta ladies. Don missed out on seeing them as he needed to take a nature break and went back to the house to do so.
残念なことにこの写真がぶれてる。この車にいるのはミスねぶたの三人。ドンも丁度この車が通ったとき、家に戻って、トイレタイムだった。ドンがミスねぶたたちを見逃したのだ！
Dogu float. Dogu were clay statues made in the Jomon era of Japan.
土偶のねぶた。土偶は縄文時代に発見されたものです。
The characters on this float may be familiar to Americans. It's Tom and Jerry!

Gekko Kamen. My brother and I used to watch the show when we lived in Japan when we were kids.
月光仮面。僕と僕兄貴が昔日本に住んでたとき、その番組も見た覚えがある。
There would be more floats on Saturday but the weather forecast called for rain.
