Dazai Osamu Ramen and Tsugaru Meshi-ya [Me] / 太宰らうめんと津軽のめしや「めぇ」

Just another fun food post. This restarant that features Aomori native novelist Osamu Dazai's "Dazai ramen" and Tsugaru regional cuisine. It's called [Me] and is located at Shin Aomori station.

Yes, you can still find restaurants that features plastic food displays.

The sign says it was one Osamu Dazai's favorite ramen which is topped with root-curved bamboo and seaweed. 

 The real Dazai ramen. It was actually pretty good. 

本物の太宰らうめん。結構美味しかったよ。

My wife ordered the Hasegawa Farm pork belly ramen. 

妻が注文したのは長谷川牧場のとろけるバラチャーシュー麺。

I'm happy to inform you that the shop is still in business.
