ゴールデンウィーク初日の日曜日は男鹿半島でたっぷり遊んだから、月曜日はうちでおとなしくするのかなと思ったが、自分の妻にゴールデンウィーク休みはないんですが、普通に日月休み。今日もどっか行きたいと言われ、天気も良かったし、もちろんどっか行くのを賛成。妻が義理の母も一緒に連れてあげようと提案。義理の母やよろこんで、自分の姉も誘いました。さ、どこに行こうかと決めないっと。やっぱり日本海に面してる深浦へ。
As we were heading into Fukaura, I asked my mother-in-law and her sister if they have ever been to Benten Island. Since they said no, I thought we should stop there first.
深浦に行く途中に、義理の母と母の姉に弁天島は行ったことありますかと訪ねてたら、二人とも行ったことないと言ってたので、最初の目的地に決定。
Benten Island is the small island in the middle of the picture.

この洞窟みたいのところに島の上まで上る階段があり。去年の８月、アメリカから遊びに来た友達のドンもここに連れてあげた。

We then a made another stop at Enkakuji Temple.
次寄っていたのは円覚寺。
But our main goal today was Aoike at Lake Juniko.
今日のメインの目的地は十二湖にある青池。
We couldn't believe how crowded it was today. There was a long line of cars waiting to park.
今日は非常に混んでた。私たちにとって、初めて駐車場が満車になってた。
But we made it to the Aoike.
青池にちゃんと辿り着きました。
My wife and I believe the best time to go is still in the middle of summer.
僕と妻が思うなは一番綺麗な時期はやっぱり夏です。
And now it was time for lunch. Where to eat?
昼になったんで、どっかランチを食べないっと。どこにしようか？

We decided to have lunch here at Lake Juniko.
ランチは十二湖のところで。
My wife had a bowl of ramen while I decided on the udon.
妻はラーメンを食べて、僕はうどん。
It was too late to go to Furofushi Hot Spring so we decided to stop at WeSpa Tsubakiyama. But my mother-in-law and her sister weren't interested in soaking in a bath so we only checked out the glass workshop and the souvenir shop.
風呂不死温泉に行くのはもう遅かったので、ウェスパ椿山のほうに行ってみた。でも義理の母と母の姉は風呂に入りたくなかったので、ガラス工房とお土産屋さんだけ行った。

Whenever we take a road trip, we also stop somewhere for an ice cream break. Here I am having a carrot flavored soft serve.

On our way back to Aomori City, we decided to stop at Senjojiki.
