青森まほらば歴史館から照法寺行く途中、ちょっと寄り道をした。行ったのは浅草焼きの店。ドンも食べたことないので、やっぱり食べさせてあげたかった。もちろん僕と妻も浅草焼きが大好き。
To get to Shohoji Temple, you must drive up a small mountain on a dirt road.
照法寺の行き先は小さな山の上。歩いて登れる高さですが、車でも行ける。

Um...okay. The statue of the woman doesn't look very Japanese.
ううん？なんだか日本人と思えない。
While we were looking around, a twelve year old girl with her two siblings in tow, starting talking to us in English. It turns out, she was the grand daughter of the monk who works at this temple. We were too busy speaking in English that I didn't get a chance to ask if I could take their picture before they had to leave.
お寺を探索しながら、１２歳の女の子と彼女の小さな兄弟たちが私たちに話をかけてくれました。英語で！彼女の英語も凄い上手だった。結構話したら、写真を撮らせて下さいをお願いするの忘れた。彼女のお祖父ちゃんがこのお寺のお坊さんでした。
Don wanted to treat us to dinner so tonight we went to Stamina Taro. An all-you-can eat yakiniku restaurant. However, this restauraunt not only serves meat, but all-you-can-eat sushi, desserts, salads, curry, and a host of other food items.
ドンが私たちをご馳走したいと言ってんで、今夜の夕飯はすたみな太郎で。ここは焼肉食べ放題の店。でもそれだけじゃない。寿司やデザート、カレー、サラダ、スープなども食べ放題になってます。
Just check out the number of plates in front of Don to see how much we ate.

I think Don was trying annindofu for the first time.
ドンが初めて杏仁豆腐を食べみた。
Back at home, Don finally got a chance to drink his Fuji Apple Chu-hi which he bought earlier in the week.
家に帰ったらドンがやっと購入したふじりんごチューハイを飲めた。
I think this was a nice end to his Aomori vacation. We will be sorry to see him go tomorrow. But we will might have a little time to do something before taking him to the airport.
これでドンの青森紀行が終了となります。明日アメリカに帰るのはちょっと寂しいです。ね。空港に送る前にちょっと時間があるかも知りません。
