ドンの青森紀行の最終日の冒険が続いて、私たちの次の目的地は津軽フェリーターミナルの近くにある青森まほろば歴史館。妻が中々駐車するところが見つからなくて、ちょっとミュージアムから離れた場所に降りた。フェリーターミナルの近くにまた豪華客船が来航してた。

僕とドンが青森駅の近くの港で見た船は大きと思ったが、この船に圧倒されましたね。デッカイ！！
This cruise ship is called the MSC Splendida.
この豪華客船の名前は「MSC Splendida」。
The ship was so large, I had to take a video clip to get it all in one shot.
船が大き過ぎて、動画で撮るしかなかった。
Wishing we were passengers on that ship.
私たちもあの船の乗客になりたい。
Unfortunately, I think this is the only kind of cruise ship Don and I will be able to go on. This is a viking ship. According to a sign, it was built by the Ornes shipyard in Norway and was modeled after the "Oseberg" kept in the Norwegian Viking Ship Museum in 2003.
残念ながら、僕とドンはこういった船した乗れないかも。これはバイキング船。サインによると、このバイキング船はノールウェイのバイキング船博物館収蔵されている「オーセバルグ号」をモデルに、２００３年にノールウェイのオルネス造船所で建造されたものです。「オーセルグ号」は、１９０４年の発掘調査で発見されました。女王オーサが乗った船（推定８００～９００年代）で、女王の死後は棺として一緒に埋葬されたものです。
Don standing in front of a wooden yacht called the Gekko II. The sign says this wooden yacht played an active part as an ocean racing boat at Sagami Bay in Kanagawa Prefecture formerly, and also participated in "Sea of China" a race between Hong Kong and Manila. The hull materials are made of teak and mahogany, but because they are unavailability , it seems to be difficult to build a similar ship. If the English seems a bit odd, it's because I wrote what was written on the sign verbatim.
ドンが木材ヨット「月光II世」の前に立てます。サインによると、かつて、神奈川県に面した相模湾で外洋レース艇として活躍、香港とマニラ間の「チャイナ・シー」レースにも参加していました。船体は、チークやマホガニー材によって作られていますが、使用材の入手が困雑のことから同様の船の建造は難しいようです。
There was a special exhibition on the day we went, so we checked out that room as well.
特別の展示物もあって、とりあえず先その部屋を探索した。

青森まほらば歴史館の２階に展望室があります。
On our way back home, we stopped by one more temple. Also, Don wanted to treat us to dinner tonight for letting him stay at our house and being his guide.
うちに戻る前にもう一箇所を寄りました。それがうちの近くにあるお寺、照法寺。あと、ドンが私たちの恩返しの為、今夜の夕飯ドンがご馳走してくれるって。
I think my blog posts about my friend's recent trip is longer than the days he actually stayed here in Aomori.
友達のドンの青森紀行が十日以上かかってますね。あとちょっとで終了致します。
