As I have mentioned, one of our first orders of business when moving to Aomori was to purchase a new car. My wife did not want to buy a used and she did a bit of research before we moved and discussed the type of car we should get. We decided on a Suzuki Swift with four-wheel drive (as this is snow country). We had ordered our new car within the first week of our move and we finally received the call that said our car was ready. The dealer was kind enough to pick us up from hour home and show us to our newest addition to our household.
以前にも話しましたが、青森に引っ越すと最初にやることは車を買うこと。妻は中古車は絶対やだというので新車を買うことになった。いろいろ調べたら二人で決めたのはスズキスイフト。もちろん雪国ですから４WD。引っ越してすぐに注文しましが約一ヶ月でやっとスズキからの電話がありました。車が届きました！良かったことに、スズキの担当者がうちまで迎えに来て、店のほうに連れてくれました。念願の新車！

Now that we have wheels, we will not have to walk down the large hill to the local supermarket.
車があるからもうスーパーまでの坂道を歩けなくて済む。
