Today's post is another one for the armchair traveler as my wife and I explore the Natsudomari Peninsula. Our first trip out here was in 2018.
今日は肘掛けの旅行者の為のネタです。２０１８年、僕と妻が初めて夏泊半島を探索した。
it's a beautiful scenic drive along the ocean.
海沿いで素敵なドライブコース。
The island in the background is Oshima. We decided to walk out to that island as well.
奥にある島は大島。そこまで散歩することにした。
Here we are on Oshima Island.
大島に到着。
There are some trails on the island itself too.
大島に小道もある。
We were going to try to walk to the lighthouse but the previous week it rained and the trail was muddy and slippery so from here we decided to turn back.
本当は灯台まで歩く予定だったが、先週の雨で小道が泥だれけで滑りやすいからここで断念し、車まで戻ろうとした。

Okay, we made out Kamefuseyama which is located in Mutsu.
あっ、むつ市にある釜臥山が分かる。
Kamafuseyama is the silhouette of a mountain at the back of the picture.
釜臥山は写真の奥に薄く写ってる。
We also stopped by a shrine on the island as well.
大島にある神社にもお参りした。

A small area of the Natsudomari Peninsula is where swans from Siberia come to rest.
夏泊半島に白鳥飛来地もあり、冬になると結構の数が来る。
And with the video of the swans, so ends our adventure driving around the Natsudomari Peninsula.
