Going back a short distance in time - to 2017 during the Obon holidays. Our friends Yukio and Reiko were visiting and as my wife had to work, I spent one day hanging out with them. We went to the Minamida Hot Spring, Hotel Apple Land in Kuroishi for lunch.
ちょっとしたタイムスリップして、２０１７年の夏、お盆の時期に旅する。友達の幸男と玲子がお盆の為に青森に来てた。水曜日だったので、妻がバイトしてた。僕はその日、幸男と玲ちゃんと遊んでました。黒石にある南田温泉ホテルアップルランドに行きました。ホテルでランチを食べました。

First order of business is lunch.
メインの目的はランチ。

After lunch, we soaked our feet in the apple foot bath.
ランチを食べ終わったら、外側にある林檎の足湯を使った。

We had the foot bath all to ourselves.
足湯は貸し切り状態だった。
The sign says the foot bath is good for all sorts of ailments.

In the evening after my wife got off work, we all went to [Wanmi] for dinner.
妻がバイト終わって、夜はみんなで「王味（わんみ）」で夕飯を食べに行った。
The gyoza at this place is so awesome, but you don't want to go to work the next day. They use a lot of garlic in their gyoza!
この店の餃子が絶品。でも次の日仕事行っちゃ駄目。にんにくが凄い効いてるから！
And so ended another fun day.
そしてこの日の冒険の幕が閉じた。
