We've reached our destination. But because this is the last weekend of Golden Week and there is also a festival being held at Ryusendo, we had to park a little ways away from the entrance.
目的地に到着。ゴールデンウィーク最終末と今週末は龍泉洞祭りもあって、龍泉洞の入口から駐車場はちょっと離れてました。

There are bats in these caves but we didn't see any.
５種のコウモリもこの中にいますが、私たちは見てなかった。

Ryusendo is a very large cave.
龍泉洞は大きな洞窟。
Some parts of the cave does get narrow.

There were two paths to go and we chose the lower path. If it wasn't crowded we could backtrack and check out both routes but because of Golden Week, foot traffic was only one-way.

The tertiary subterranean lake. This has a depth of 98m (321.6 ft).
第三地底湖。水深はなんと９８ｍなんですよ！

Yumi Katsura's Lover's Sanctuary / 恋人の聖地
I think this is an art piece by Yumi Katsura. She is a bridal fashion designer. The writing on the sign says, "Here I declare this "Lover's Sanctuary" to impart the joy and the magic of encounters, blissful marriages, and raising a happy home, I send my blessing to your encounters and wish you a wonderful future." Bridal Mother, Yumi Katsura.

We decided to walk along the river back to our car.
川沿いを歩いて車に戻った。
Lots of people fishing along the river. You can rent the fishing rods and bait nearby.
釣りしてる人々が多かった。近くに釣り竿のレンタルが出来る。
Okay, now it's time to find a place to have lunch. We decided to go into the town of Iwaizumi. Our travels continue...
これから昼食の時間になり、岩泉町の商店街に行って飲食店を探す。旅がつづく。。。
