Nuruyu Hot Spring [Kazen no Sho] / 温湯温泉「花禅の庄」

Earlier this year, in March, after we had lunch at the Indian restaurant [Pokara Dining], we went to a hot spring in Kuroishi. We went to a place called [Kazen no Sho] at the Nuruyu Hot Spring area.

今年の３月、インドレストラン「ポカラダイニング」でランチを食べ終わってから、黒石にある温湯温泉郷に行きました。目的地の場所は「花禅の庄」。

A little refreshment before we head home. A small bottle of Shiny Aomori apple juice.

帰る前にちょっとした飲み物。シャイニーアップルジュース「靑森のおもてなし」。

Leaving the inn. It looks like a cool place to stay but probably a bit on the expensive side.

宿を去るところです。ここで宿泊するのも良いかも、でもちょっと高そう。

And so ends another adventure.

それで今日の冒険が終了しました。

Mutsu City Day Trip in March of this Year (Spa Wood Kanko Hotel) / むつ市日帰り旅行（スパウッド観光ホテル）

Our final destination before heading back to Aomori City was the Spa Wood Kanko Hotel in Kawauchi. We would enjoy a bath at a hot spring before making the long drive back home.

むつ市の日帰り旅行の最終の目的地は川内町にあるスパウッド観光ホテル。靑森市まで帰る長いドライブの前に温泉に入って、気持ち良くなる。

We were planning on having lunch here but by the time we got to the place, the restaurant had closed.

ここでランチを食べるつもりだったが、着いた途端、レストランが閉店の時間となった。

So, we only enjoyed the baths here.

それお風呂だけを楽しめた。

The outdoor bath was very nice as well.

露天風呂も最高でした。

I asked my wife and mother-in-law if they enjoyed the outdoor bath as well and they looked at me and said, "What outdoor bath?". I was surprised! I checked their website later and found that the there is only one outdoor bath and it alternates between men only and women only every week. We happen to go there when it was the men's turn.

妻と義理の母に露天風呂も楽しめてかを尋ねたら、二人は、”露天風呂？なかったよ！”。え～、また二人が見逃したのかなと思ったが、あとから調べたところ、このホテルの露天風呂は１つしかない。週によって男性用か女性用となる。私たちが行った時は男性用の週でした。

The tables and chairs in the lobby featured some interesting woodwork.

We didn't go as far as Sai Village but I did buy a bottle of Sai no Yuhi Ale.

佐井村まで行かなかったけど、佐井の夕日エールを１本買いました。

Drinkin this beer put a nice ending to our day's adventure.

佐井の夕日エールを飲んで、今日の冒険が終了しました。

Lunch at [La Fonte] in Namioka and Hana no Yu Hot Spring / 浪岡道の駅アップルヒル「ラフォンテ」のランチと花の湯

Back in January of this year, my wife and I decided to have lunch at [Le Fonte] which is located at the Namioka Roadside Station [Apple Hill]. It is an Italian restaurant that has a monthly set menu. Lunch is served with an assortment of appetizers, followed by the main dish (a choice between two pastas) and finishes off with an assortment of desserts. The price went up since the last time we there. It went from ￥1500 to ￥1700.

今年の始まり、ある週末、道の駅なみおか「あっぷるひる」でランチを食べに行った。その場所にイタリアンレストラン「ラファンテ」がある。セットメニューしかありません。以前行ったより値段が上がった。最初に行ったときは、そのセットメニューが１５００円でした。今年に入って、値段が１７００円まで上がった。セットに５種類くらいの前菜から始まり、メインディッシュのパスタ（２醜類から選べる）、そして最後はデザートの盛り合わせ。
