Taking a little trip back in the past when we first moved to Aomori City. We heard about an event taking place in Misawa City called American Day. It is one of the two days when Misawa Base is open to the public. The event will kick off with a Harley-Davidson parade, followed by many different groups, both civilian and military, American and Japanese. One of my students said she would be taking part in the parade. She said she will be a member of a group performing country line dance. Oh, and there will be a couple of free shows by the bands Vertical Horizon and Everclear.
ちょっと前に戻って、私たちが青森市に引っ越したばっかりの時。三沢市であるイベントの情報をゲット。２０１７年のアメリカン・デイが開催すること。１０月８日で行った。１０時からアメリカンデイパレードでスタート。ハーレーダビッドソンの軍団が出てる。そのあとは米軍・三沢市の学生やいろんなグループも参加する。うちの生徒の一人もパレードに参加すると言われて、カントリーラインダンスグループの中に居ると教えてくれた。ほかにフリーコンサートも開催する。今年はアメリカのバンド二組、Vertical HorizonとEverclear。

Once the parade was over, we went on base.

At events like these, it's also always about the food.
