It was during the Obon holidays that I took my self tour of the Memorial Ship [Hakkoda Maru] where my mother-in-law works. After checking out the ship and the surrounding area, it was time for lunch. There was a cafe I was curious about so I finally went there to eat. The name of the place is called [Pent House].
お盆休みのときに義理の母が働いてる観光施設のメモリアルシップ「八甲田丸」とその周辺を探索したあと、昼食の時間になった。気になってた店「ペントハウス」に行ってみた。
The restaurant is located on the third floor of the Snowland Building in the Furukawa neighborhood.
レストランは古川にスノーランドビルの３階にある。

What's unusual about this restaurant is you have to take off your shoes before entering.
このレストランに入る前に、靴の脱がなきゃいけない。
When I went, the restaurant was full of women, mostly moms with their children. Since it was a little crowded, I couldn't take a picture of the interior. I borrowed a few pictures off the Internet.
行ったとき、結構混んでた。客層はほぼ若い女性。お母さんと子供達が多かった。人が多すぎたので、店内の写真が撮れなかった。それで、ネットで写真をちょっと借りた。
A very nice relaxing atmosphere. And yes, there is a ping-pong table in the middle of the room. It's like on very large living room.
凄い落ち着いた雰囲気で、大きな居間にいるような感じ。はい、部屋の真ん中に卓球台があります。
My lunch set included soup.
ランチセットはスープ付き。
I ordered their taco rice. It was quite delicious.
注文したのはタコライス。とっても美味しかった。
After lunch, I walked around the Furukawa neighborhood and came across the Ichinenji Temple.
ランチを食べたあと、古川周辺を散歩した。途中で一念寺の前に止まった。
This looks like the statues of the six main bodhisattva.
多分六地蔵村と想います。
The sect of this temple doesn't offer a temple seal. Bummer. Then, it was off to my next destination - the Aomori City Forestry Museum.
このお寺は御朱印をやってない。残念。仕方なく、次の目的地に向かう。それが青森市森林博物館。
