Hoshino Coffe in Hachinohe / 八戸にある「星野珈琲」城下店

When we lived in Tokyo, we would often go to a coffee shop called [Hoshino Coffee]. I heard there use to be one in Aomori City but it must have closed long before we moved here. However, we found that there is a branch in the Numadate area of Hachinohe. We decided to make a trip to Hachinohe just to have lunch there. 

東京に住んでた頃、うちの近くに「星野珈琲」の店がありました。たまに行きましたよ。でも靑森市に引っ越したら、１店舗もない。昔はあると聞きましたが、現在はありません。ですが、靑森県八戸市の沼館に「星野珈琲」城下店がある。ある日、そこを目指して、ランチを食べた。

On that particular day, I decided to order there clubhouse sandwich. It's made with smoked chicken and bacon, eggs, and fresh vegetables. It comes with a side of fries. 

この日自分が注文したのはクラブハウスサンド＆ポテト ～スモークチキンとベーコン～。メニューで書かれてるのはスモークチキン、ベーコン、たまご、フレッシュ野菜をはさんだボリューミーなトーストサンドです。フライドポテトとご一緒に。

My mother-in-law ordered the same dish as before. The beef stew and omurice gratin. 

義理の母は以前と同じものを注文しました。それがビーフシチューオムライスドリア。

We shared a dessert. 

デザートはシェアしました。

Dessert was french toast topped with whip cream. 

デザートはフレンチトースト（ホイープのせ）。

Of course we had to have our coffee with dessert. 

もちろん星乃珈琲はデザートと共に。

The Lobby UMINECO / ザ・ロビー ウミネコ

It's been almost three months since I've posted anything on my own blog. I thought I would remedy that situation today. My wife introduced me to a Japanese travel blogger on YouTube and I watched his travels in Aomori City. He went to a place that is within walking distance from my place of employ, a small coffee shop called [The Lobby UMINECO] where he had a brown sugar latte. I'm not a big fan of coffee but recently I've been drinking hot coffee with cakes and desserts and I do love brown sugar! So, the other day I decided to pay the shop a visit. 

おう、約３ヶ月自分のブログを更新してないに気付き、なんか面白いネタで書こうかなと想った。最近は良くYouTubeの旅ブラガーの動画を見てる。自分の妻が教えてくれた。「もーりーチャンネル」。彼は森岡なんとか、ひろしだったかな。とりあえず、彼のキャッチコピーは「旅は自己投資」。その「もーりーチャンネル」で靑森市の旅の動画を見たら、自分の職場の近くにあるコーヒーショップ「ザ・ロビー ウミネコ」を紹介された。自分はコーヒーあんまり飲まないけど最近デザートやケーキと一緒のホットコーヒーを飲むことにしてる。かれがその店で飲んでたのは黒糖ラテ。個人的に黒糖は好きだし、ミルクが入ってるなら、自分も飲めるな。美味しそうだったし。先日、実際にその店に行ってみた。

Of course I ordered the brown sugar latte. I also noticed they sold scones. I was going to buy some to go but then decided to eat them in the shop while drinking my latte. It's a very small shop but has a cozy atmosphere. 

店内でその黒糖ラテを飲んでみようと想った。カウンターにスコーンもあり、それも良いなでそれも注文。待ってる間、店内は小さいけど心地よい。

My order of salted scones, which were heated and came with blueberry jam and whipped cream and of course my brown sugar latte. The latte is a little expensive at ￥690. The scones are also ￥600 (for two). 

自分が注文した黒糖ラテと塩スコーン。スコーンは温めてブルーベリージャムとホイップクリームで提供してる。黒糖ラテはちょっと高いけど美味しい。６９０円もする。スコーンも生ホイップ付、２個で６００円。

Now, I want to check out some of the other small coffee shops that are located close to my workplace. 

今度職場の近くにある別のコーヒーショップや喫茶店に行って見たい。

Bakery Restaurant [St. Marc] / ベーカリーレストラン「サンマルク」

Just a fun food post. A few years back, we went to a place called [St. Marc Cafe]. This cafe has their own inhouse bakery. We went there for lunch one day and enjoyed the all you can eat bread bar. 

楽しい飲食店ネタ。なんねんか前に靑森市サンロードの近くに「サンマルクカフェ」でランチを食べに行ってきました。この店はインハウスのベーカリーがあり、ランチを食べながら、パンの食べ放題も楽しむことが出来ます。

It's been such a long time since we've been here, I forgot the names of the dishes we ordered. 

ここでランチを食べに来たのが８年前ですから、注文した料理の名前忘れたよ。

Well, I do remember enjoying the different fresh breads and the lunch was delicious. Hm, I would like go back again sometime. 

ま、焼きたてのパンをいっぱい食べたのは覚えてる。あとランチも美味しかった。またいつか行きたいな。

Cafe [Shizuku] / 丘の上にある木下のカフェ「しずくカフェ」

About a month ago, as I was walking to the Narita Bookshop in Shinmachi, I noticed a picture on poster of this cute looking cafe called [Shizuku]. The picture was the winner of some photo contest for Aomori Prefecture. Later, I looked up the cafe and found that it's located in Fujisaki Town. Last Sunday, my wife and I, along with my mother-in-law decided to have lunch there. 

約一ヶ月前、靑森市新町で成田本店を行った時にあるポスターに良い写真を発見。写ってたのはお洒落のカフェ。「しずくカフェ」と書いてあった。ポスターを読んでみたら、靑森県のフォトコンテストで賞を取った写真でした。何処だろうと想いながら、あとでネットで調べた。藤崎町にあるのを把握して、先週の日曜日、僕と妻と僕の義理の母はランチの為にその店に行ってみた。

上記の写真はネット上で借りたが、自分が撮った写真もある。

There were two women sitting on a bench waiting for a table so I was careful not to have them in the photo. 

店の外にベンチで座ってる二人の女性が居て、無断で二人の写真を撮るのも良くないとわかり、彼女たちが写ってないように上記の写真を撮った。

This is the interior. When we went, it was fairly crowded but we managed to get seated rather quickly. We sat at the counter pictured above. 

店内はこういう感じ。私たちが行ったときはもう混んでたけど、すぐ座れた。案内された席は上記に写ってるカウンター席。

There's a small room in which a tree is growing inside the building. 

店内に内庭みたな場所があり、そこに木がある。

Yep, there's an opeing in the roof for the tree to continue to grow. 

はい、屋根に穴があり、どんどん成長出来る様な作りとなってる。

本日のランチ。

The main dish. The pork steak was so good. It was pre-cut and topped with a wonderful sauce. 

メインディッシュのポークステーキ。切った状態で提供してる。そしてトッピングされてソースも絶品。

We all decided to have dessert as well and ordered something different.

私たちもデザートも食べた、それぞれ違うアイテムを注文した。

I had the chocolate terrine. 

自分が食べたのはまったりチョコテリーヌ。

My wife had the Basque cheesecake. 

妻が食べたのは素朴なバスクチーズケーキ。

And my mother-in-law had the vanilla cheesecake. 

そして義理の母が食べたのはバニラのふわふわチーズケーキ。

We were quite satisfied with our meal and intend to come here again. Next time, I want to try their sandwiches. 

結構満足したので、また来たいと想います。次来た時僕は店が作ってるサンドウィッチを食べたい。

Before heading home, we did our shopping at the AEON Mall in Fujisaki Town as well, then stopped at the Namioka Roadside Station where my wife and I had ice-cream. 

家に帰る前に藤崎町のイオンモールで買い物して、浪岡道の駅あっぷるひるに寄って僕と妻はクレミアのソフトクリームを食べた。

It was quite a fun day. Oh, before we headed out to Fujisaki Town, I also got my hair cut!

楽しい１日でした。あっ、藤崎町に行く前に自分も髪切りに行った！

Coffee Shop [Marron] / 喫茶「マロン」

This year I didn't really make a resolution to start visiting my local cafes and coffee shops but it's something that I have been doing of more recently. I have seen and heard about the coffee shop called [Marron] which is located in the Yasutaka area of Aomori City, very close to my workplace. 

別に新年の抱負の分けではないが、最近よく待ちの喫茶店行くことが多くなった。前から気になって店があり。昔からあった話も耳にしたので、どうしても行ってみたかったのは喫茶「マロン」。場所は青森市の康方にあり、自分の職場からかなり近い。

It was quite tasty too. 

美味しかったよ。

Now that I've been frequenting coffee shops, it only seems proper to have a cup of coffee as well. 

最近はコーヒーショップや喫茶店巡りしてるから、やはりその店のコーヒーも飲むべきと想う様になった。

I treated myself to desert as well and ordered a cheesecake. 

デザートも注文して、チーズケーキを食べた。
