Chinese Diner [Gen-chan Ramen] / 中華食堂 「源ちゃんラーメン」

 

One night after drinking with a friend of a friend, my wife and I decided to go out for some before calling it a night. We went to a popular ramen shop called Gen-chan. It's actually a local Chinese restaurant/My wife said it's been around for a long time but it was my first time eating here. 

ある夜、東京の友達の友達と飲んだあと、僕と妻は帰る前にラーメンを食べに行った。人気ラーメン店源ちゃんラーメンに行った。僕は初めてだったが、妻はこの店結構前かあると言った。ラーメン以外なものもいろいろある。なぜというなら中華食堂ですから。

I ordered the tonkotsu ramen. It's my favorite type of ramen. 

僕が注文したのはとんこつラーメン。ラーメンなら僕が一番好きなのはとんこつなのだ！

My wife ordered the chuka-soba with chashu. She prefers to keep it simple. 

妻は中華そばを頼みました。やっぱ妻はスタンダードのほうが好み。
