Tsuru-no-Mai Bridge / 鶴の舞橋

One weekend about three years ago while my wife and I were still exploring Aomori Prefecture, we decided to go to the Tsuru-no-Mai Bridge in Tsuruta. 

２０１７年、まだ僕と妻が青森県を探索してたとき、ある週末鶴田にある鶴の舞橋に行ってみた。

We stopped at a little restaurant / snack shop called the Lake Fujimi Store before walking across the bridge. 

橋を渡る前にちょっとこのスナック・レストランの冨士見湖売店に行ってみました。

In case you didn't know, "tsuru" is "crane" in Japanese. 

鶴は英語でクレインと言う。

We saw some kayakers out on the lake. The lake is called the Mawarizeki Otamaike but is more commonly known as the Tsugaru Fujimi Lake.

池の上でカヤックを楽しんでる人たちは大勢いた。湖の名前は廻堰大溜池（愛称津軽冨士見湖）。

The bird on the right - it is a grey heron. 

Not far from the Tsuru-no-Mai Bridge, we came across the Tsuruta Infant Garden.

From the Tsuru-no-Mai Bridge we went cherry picking in a nearby orchard. 

鶴の舞橋を去って近くのさくらんぼ畑でさくらんぼ狩りしました。

After eating our share of cherries, we decided to head back home. However, we would find ourselves exploring something new again but that will have to wait for another time. 

さくらんぼでおなかいっぱいになったあと、そろそろ帰ろうと思いました。途中でまた面白そうな場所を発見して、そこも探索してみたけど、それはまた今度話します。
