Blue Forest Chronicles: The Misawa Aviation & Science Museum (Part 1) / 三沢航空科学館（パート１）

As the snow has mostly melted away from the major roads, we found that we could take longer drives and explore more of Aomori Prefecture. So the day after our visit to Iwakisan Shrine, we decided to make another visit to Misawa. We were going to have lunch at Aka Noren again and do a little shopping at the Sky Plaza. But this time, we were also going to check out the Misawa Aviation & Science Museum.

３月になって、道路の雪がほとんど溶けたので、もっと遠い場所にドライブ出来る様になった。岩木山神社の旅の翌日、２回目の三沢行くことに決めた。また赤のれんでランチを食べるとスカイプラザに買い物する予定。でも今回、僕はもうひとつの目的があった。それが三沢航空科学館だ。

Here we are at Aka Noren again. Of course we will be ordering the same thing we did last time - the barayaki (grilled pork) dish.

また赤のれんに来た。もちろん前回と同じものを注文した。それはバラ焼きです。

Ah, the Lani Chicken Factory. Unfortunately, we didn't buy any today.

あ～、ラニチキンファクトリーの店だ。残念ながら、今回はチキン買いませんでした。

And now onto where I really wanted to go - the Misawa Aviation & Science Museum.

さて、僕が今回行きたかった目的地に向かう。それはもちろん三沢航空科学館。

There are many planes and helicopters on display outside of the museum and you are free to check them out. There is also no fee for the outside displays.

いろんな飛行機やヘリコプターがビルの外の展示されてる。自由で乗っても良いし、この外側にあるものも無料で体験出来る。
