Aseishigawa Dam / 浅瀬石川ダム

Our shopping excursion last Monday turned into a spontaneous road trip to Kuroishi as we visited the Tsugaru Kokeshi Museum and the Tsugaru Traditional Crafts Museum. We decided to make one more stop before heading home. Driving for another 15 minutes brought us to the Aseishigawa Dam.

先週月曜日の買い物の途中、ちょっとしたドライブの日になりました。黒石市まで行って津軽こけし館と津軽伝承工芸館を堪能したあと、もう一箇所行きました。車であと１５分くらいの距離で浅瀬石川ダムに行ってきました。

There is a small dam museum here as well.

先ダムを見てそのあとに浅瀬石川ダム資料館に行ってきました。

The water is still mostly frozen over.

雪が完全に溶けてない。湖がまだ凍ってます。

That is not a monster but a reflection of a cloud.

家に帰って、空を見るとこういう景色でした。

This drive was a nice way to end our weekend.
